Oskar Zięta

Born in 1975, the designer is an architect. After graduating from electronic engineering in Zielona Góra he chose architecture at Szczecin University of Technology (now West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin). After studying in Poland he left for a scholarship to the Swiss Institute of Technology ETH (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule) in Zurich, where he received a doctorate. He worked as an assistant in Computer Aided Architectural Design at this university. As an architect and process designer, he leads Industrial Design at the School of Form in Poznan. Zięta Prozessdesign, a transdisciplinary design and research studio develops its own incremental, well-fitting, lightweight stabilization technologies: FiDU and 3+, and studies their application in modern architecture, engineering and design. Zięta’s projects are, among others, in the collections of Museum of Copper in Legnica, Badisches Landmuseum in Karlsruhe, Center Pompidou in Paris, Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich.
