This years leading word – STORM – gives us a large field of interpretation. It leads us to the dynamism competing with calmness; change as a consequence of natural processes.
This year we chose to use reflections and refractions of light. Shifted, crocked or blured reflections relate to the changing nature of water – sharp and sudden during storm, subtle and calming – after it. We also use wind as a factor dynamicly affecting the forms.
Concept of Grupa Gdyby is divided into two main parts: interior and exterior. Being ideally a continuationof each other they differ in function. For the outdoor spaces we prepared a dynamic installation in front of PPNT building functioning as a meeting spot and place to rest. The installation will expand into the city with information stands. In the interior we focused on unifying the vast spaces. Series of installations lead the visitors through the exhibitions. The interior is a continuation of outside spaces creating consistant reception.
