During GDD, The Design Alive magazine goes back to traditional values: you are invited to the table, to take part in the meetings, discussions (up-close and personal, not virtual) and to read and write letters (in paper form!).
At the Idea Table, you can read a magazine, take a picture with the prototype of the Design Alive Award, designed by Oskar Zięta, watch a video from the awards gala or meet with the editorial staff and their friends. At the Table of Ideas you can also write a letter to the editors and to the designers of the table: the Tabanda Group. The authors of the most interesting letters have a chance to win a one year subscription to the DA magazine or the Diago chair designed by Tabanda. “When years ago we promoted the first issue of the magazine, we met with our readers at Oskar Zięty's table. Nowadays we meet at Tabanda Group’s table, which was specially designed for DA, with the statuette for the Design Alive Awards winners, designed by Oskar Zięta six years ago. We return to the roots, to the original idea of a personal meeting face-to-face and with pride we turn away, at least for a brief moment, from the virtual reality” – says Ewa Trzcionka, the editor-in-chief of Design Alive.
