The carefully selected eco-projects presented at the "rECOnsider Design" exhibition are intended to encourage visitors to consider their daily habits in order to reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment, without sacrificing quality or the unique character of items. The accompanying series of lectures will introduce entrepreneurs, lecturers, students as well as the broader audience to the potential of eco design and circular economy.
The "rECOnsider Design" exhibition under the so-called “Ecodesign RoadShow” will be presented in several European countries, including Poland, during Gdynia Design Days. These exhibitions are part of the "EcoDesign Circle" project which is implemented by organizations and institutions from the Baltic Sea countries, i.e. Germany, Sweden, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and Poland. The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of the Baltic Sea countries to innovate in the field of sustainable design in line with circular economy. The project will last until March 2019 and is coordinated by the German Environment Agency.
