What is design? - this is a question often asked by the commission during the entrance examination at the Academy of Fine Arts. However, not only the potential future designers, but also the whole design industry and the scientific world are struggling with the answer.
In June over 140 students will defend their thesis. The working methods of young designers are different: they build prototypes, conduct experiments, sociological observations, prepare economic forecastings, they strive to manage processes and they attempt to improve the present. The exhibition will present the 5th edition of competition projects of the graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk from the following majors: Design, Interior Architecture and Cultural Space Architecture. A jury will select the 20 entries for the exhibition.
