Agnieszka Jacobson-Cielecka

Programme director of the School of Form in Poznan and the head of Domestic specialty.
In 2008-2012, artistic director of Lodz Design Festival (LDF), now a member of the Programme Council of LDF.
Curator of numerous exhibitions of polish design such as Unpolished (with Paul Grobelny), Polished Up, Polish Folk, Materia Prima and Just the Thing, which were presented at the most important design festivals in Europe and in design museums (MAKK in Cologne, Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest, Helsinki Design Museum, Museum of Modern Art in Bucharest and other). She also curated an exhibition “Common Roots. Design Map of Central Europe” realized for Design Museum Holon.
Design critic, journalist and publicist. Judge in numerous competitions. Member of advisory bodies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Adam Mickiewicz Institute, National Museum in Warsaw and Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola.
Member of the programme council of Designblok in Czech Republic.
Winner of prizes: Editor-in-Chief of the Year (Media Marketing 2007) and Design Alive Awards’ Animator of the year 2013.
In 2000 she launched polish edition of Elle Decoration and she was its editor-in-chief till 2007. Graduate of painting from Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. Currently she lives in Warsaw.
